We have a sunset picture of Guilin!
Now the river rushes forth...
Here a raft of boaters!
My favorite picture of a diving cormorant!

Planes of Fame, in Chino
My cousin, Sammy, came to visit me a few years ago. We had a great time at Planes of Fame in Chino.
There were jets, jet fighters, and bombers...
There were jets, jet fighters, and bombers...
So many iterations of plane engines were developed "on the fly" during WWII. It's staggering to think of the speed at which this was done.
As you can see from the "logo" on this plane, baseball team names weren't the only things that reflected cultural attitudes of the time...
This 4-engine plane model is one of many small replicas at Planes of Fame. Some are the only representations left of aircraft that were scrapped after the war. The metal was needed for other purposes.
Experimental jet.
This a 3-dimensional image. Get your 3D glasses ready!

ODA near Siem Reip: 2013
This was an amazing orphanage! Just incredible people here!
I loved what this person had to say, and her sense of purpose and energy.
Her presence made a marvelous contribution to the atmosphere here.
This affable young man was interested in everything going on around him.
Examining a flower blossom.
All the residents here were incredible - there was a real sense of community here.
Pumping water - Yes, a that's a pump!
Everyone contributed to the communal, cooperative atmosphere here.
Playing a game. Note the impish grin!

My Bodi School Experience: 2010-2012
Bodi School is primarily for school kids younger than 6th grade. Here are some of them.
The kids in my classes are upper level, and only a part of that: my classes draw from only about 100, from the Freshman though Senior class, who can speak and understand English.
A couple of the 8-year olds! Wonder what they're up to?
Here are three more, the youngest in the middle.
These students are headed off to class!
A big load of newspapers to deliver!

My 2004 London Quarter
During our travels in London, my partner and I were intrigued by the exhibits we experienced at the Tate Modern, in London.
This head was frozen, HIV positive, with the blood still attached!
It was then refrigerated, and allowed to break down in real time!
One can't help but THINK when confronted with a display like this- it pushes at many of our boundaries, while evoking a sense of curiosity at the same time.A playful piece at the Tate.
At the National Gallery in London. The painting above is a famous nude I'm partial to! At bottom the subject is two ambassadors, by Holbein. The object in the foreground resolves into a skull! We loved the presentations about Holbein's "perspective" techniques.
"Romeo and Juliet" production at London's Globe Theater, 2004. My partner K and I got standing seats, just like the crowd members during Shakespeare's era!

From Rome, the famous sculpture of Daphne and Apollo, Bernini. I think Bernini is just about the best!
The Library at the British Museum. One of our favorite rooms. Such a soaring perspective!
These are old maps, but it is still possible to create GPS routes with them. We did this quite a lot in 2004!
A Royal enclosure, with part of our GPS route around it!
The Tower of London, Thames entrance.
This exhibit of shrouded heads at the Tate Modern invited you to participate. I bowed my head and followed instructions that included looking outward from beneath a shroud!
