The Fulbright Pictures

I'm on top of where I stayed at the International Hostel on top of the structure in Banaras.

If you go ahead some 40 years, you'll get to my senior years where I teach at Bodi in Xi'an, China and discover my real interest in Hangzhou, China where I focus on Phoenix Hill and the Sung Dynasty, which Marco Polo visited there.

Again, if you go ahead some 40 years, you'll find what I am doing now, go here.

In my sleeping togs.

40 years ahead with the Phoenix Hill project, my favorite article is here in 2005.

The Leverings Birthday at the Blackburns, about 2011

David and Lillian

Xiahe, China, 2010-2012

"Enlightenment" - the triangle just above the head of the monk who is walking by is the visual metaphor for " enlightenment"!

Following the monk - he has a side-step.

This monk is a sturdy presence!
Monks cast off their shoes before entering the temple. At this altitude, it must make for some cold feet!
The altitude at Xiahe is a little over 7,000 feet.
Overview of Xiahe
Here are the "Abbots" - they appeared one day and generated much discussion amongst we novices!
This monk became my favorite! He guided me around.
Here is a portion of the temples - stacked up against the mountains.
A very young lad!

Some 3D Images from Early Exhibitions, about 2004

Here's a 3D in the Fisherman's Garden.
The Forbidden Palace in Beijing!
At the Ciyuin Buddhist Temple in Hangzhou.
Looking downward from the tallest building in Shanghai.
Along a street in a small village south of Shanghai.
A fisherman along the Coast outside of Hangzhou.

These were formatted into 29 inches by 60 inches for an exhibition at Cal Poly Pomona in 2003 or 2004.

Here the "Big Buddha" from Lantau, Hong Kong!
